For a while, ZZ Top released a string of really cool videos that followed a similar theme. Basically, someone was the victim of some kind of social injustice, then the ZZ Top 'ghosts' would intervene, sending their chrome-plated custom roadster filled with hot chicks to save the day!

In this example, a homely girl who is bullied and beset by all those around her - except for one (the love interest!).

The roadster and the girls turn up, give the girl a makeover, help dispense justice on her bullies, and help her get her man before finally being given the key to the roadster in which they literally drive off into the sunset.

Pure magic!

MTV agreed, and in the MTV Awards 1984, this took the prize of Best Group Video.

As for the music? Still fresh and is a great song that still works today!

As for the video? It looks a little dated - largely due to the fashion of the day, but it's a love story and if there's one thing we love in our music videos in Sydney, it's a story!

If you have a great song you would like to have put to video, then call Hyperdriven today!
